Buthi-Kyaw

Hi Again!

Do you want to treat your taste buds with hot,juicy and crispy gourd?
If yes then read on..

Buthi-kyaw(pronounced as buthi-chaw) is a gourd cut into finger sized pieces dipped into batter and golden fried, served with chuttney. They are so delicious that you have never imagined a gourd to taste like this.

INGREDIENTS -
-1 piece of gourd
-Oil for frying

(For batter)
-2 tbsp gram flour
-6 tbsp rice flour
-1& 1/2 cup water
-Salt to taste
- pinch of ajinomoto
-pinch of red chili powder
-1/2 inch ginger pounded


METHOD-
- Cut the gourd into finger sized pieces without removing its peel.
- Make the batter and dip the pieces into it.
- Fry the dipped pieces till golden brown.
- Last step is to eat and enjoy with any chutney or ketchup.
